Gatherers helps groups plan trips together. This policy explains what we collect and why. We collect the minimum needed to run the product.
What we collect
- Trip details you enter (destination, dates, budget, preferences).
- Your votes and vetoes on itinerary items.
- For planners: your email address, used to sign in.
- Anonymous usage analytics (which features are used) via PostHog.
Invited members
People you invite join anonymously — no account or email required. We create an anonymous identifier so their votes can be counted. If they later choose to create an account, their existing votes are preserved.
Third parties
We share data with service providers strictly to operate the product: Supabase (database + auth), OpenAI and Google Places (itinerary generation), Google Maps (maps), Booking.com (hotel options), Resend (email), and PostHog (analytics). We do not sell your data.
Your choices
You can delete a trip at any time, which removes its items, votes, and vetoes. To delete your account or request your data, email privacy@gatherers.app.
